Useful autonomy requires more than a connect button.
A system designed to act on your behalf has to make control obvious, not optional. AutExA is engineered so authority, policy and evidence are structural properties of the platform — not settings added later.
Authority is explicit and revocable
AutExA is not authorised to execute outside the authority you grant. You can narrow or revoke that authority at any time.
Policy before execution
Every execution request is designed to pass through policy before it runs. Failures fail closed.
Sensitive actions stop at defined boundaries
Sensitive actions cross an explicit boundary and are gated by additional confirmation or narrower authority.
Governed Windows runtime
Local actions run inside a governed Windows runtime. Signing and release validation are in progress ahead of early-access invitations.
An inspectable execution record
Completed actions are designed to produce a durable, inspectable record: what was decided, on what basis, where it acted and what happened.
Provider-neutral by design
Models, cloud services and connectors sit behind AutExA and are replaceable. No single provider is load-bearing.
