What is an Intelligence Operating System?

An Intelligence Operating System is the layer above AI models, cloud services, browsers, mailboxes, documents, workflows and the governed local runtime. It understands intent, resolves it into abstract capabilities, and routes execution through replaceable providers under a bounded authority model.

How is AutExA different from a chatbot or an assistant?

A chatbot fuses conversation with action. AutExA separates reasoning from execution: a coordinating layer speaks in abstract capabilities, execution is resolved to a provider and runtime, and policy is enforced at every step. Conversation is an interface — not the system.

What is capability-based orchestration?

Every action AutExA can take is a discrete, granted capability. Providers and runtimes beneath the capability line are replaceable, so no single model, service or device is load-bearing.

What is the authority you grant?

A bounded, inspectable and instantly revocable envelope within which AutExA may act. You grant durable permissions once; AutExA acts continuously within those boundaries and escalates only at the boundary.

What stage is AutExA at?

AutExA has reached Architectural Stability 1.0. The Private Beta is in active development; early-access applications are open and invitations will open in carefully managed waves as the full journey is validated. The governed Windows runtime exists, with signing and release validation in progress.
